This afternoon I started searching for a better place to put the Dynon GPS antenna. After Googling the placement, I found most people put it on the glare shield, under the canopy, or on the top of the plane behind the rear window.
I am planning on mounting the main com antenna on the top of the plane back behind the rear window and they recommend the GPS antenna being 36 inches away from the COM radio.
I finally decided on what I think will be a great place. Under the rear window plexiglass in the middle of the baggage area.
I bent the bracket so it puts the GPS antenna up as close as possible to the plexi. By moving the COM antenna back a bit, I think everything will work out great.
