This afternoon, Kellen Moore (Heisman Trophy candidate and one of my former fifth grade students) swung by the hangar after we had lunch. He’s hoping to take up flying once the dust settles. He was a wonderful student and has grown to a poised, humble young adult.
While he was looking things over, I fired up the furnace so I could return later today without freezing to death.
The first order of business was removing the EX Buss unit so I could attach wires to the switches. I crimped eye terminals to different colored wires and attached them to the switches. While everything was apart, I also added some electrical tape to the forward right corner where the master switch is. Connecting the wire was a bit tricky.
After the wires were connected, I added a Molex connector to the other end. I was it to be easy to remove the panel.
