Brief Description: Lower Cowling Firewall Attach Point
This piece connects the lower firewall to the cowling where the cowling is divided for the nose wheel gear leg. For just being a few pieces, I have spent a ton of time on it. It is very difficult drilling the holes and working in the area. But, when it was done, it seemed pretty simple.
I took the cowling on and off a dozen times to get the fit correct and getting the two bolts that attach the unit to the gear took almost 30 minutes. (I need smaller fingers.)
