Finaly got kit home and unloaded. Exiting times ahead! I will not be able to get started on the actual build untill I talk to the FAA about my kit. I have purchased a kit that has been started but not anywhere near finished. The original owner read some reports of wing failures and decided to bail out of the build. Because he is concerned about liability, having worked on this kit, he has stipulated that all parts of this kit are to be considered scrap metal. So... I have picked up a big 'Ol pile of scrap metal from a hangar in Minnesota and will now set my sights on making an airplane from it all! The only reason for purchasing this "scrap metal" with building plans and ser. number is because the price was so incredible that I could not go wrong! I am now waiting for the blessing of Zenith Air and will be in contact with the FAA very soon.
