Brief Description: Altrak VS autopilot installation
I decided to ad an Altrak VS autopilot to the Digitrack autopilot. This will give me altitude hold as well as vertical speed select of +or- 800 fpm. So I layed out a suitable location for the altitude hold button and vertical speed select knob. Removed the L/H fresh air vent, EFIS 1, and the digitrak autopilot. Then carefully drilled up both holes to the proper size. And installed the pushbutton and knob in the panel. And reinstalled items removed for the installation.
