I applied some static cling window tint to the skylight area of the windshield. Hopefully this will keep the cabin a little cooler. And the static cling should hold up fine on the plexiglass. Originally planned on using regular window tint. But after some research I found out that plexiglass needs to offgas. And will create bubbles in the tint. But the static cling is not prone to this. And if it is, well it's easy to remove.
With the tint in place. I placed the thin foam strip along the mating areas. And bolted the windshield in place.
