The new KItfox LLC has plastic end cap for the flaperons. So I decided to go with these. Instead of finishing the Hysol covered foam end caps shown in the plans.These are very lightweight and durable. Not to mention easy to install. So I removed the old end caps. Not to hard to do. As they are quite fragile. Then I carefully trimmed the plastic ones to fit in place. And bonded them to the flaperon with some Hysol structural adhesive.
