I ended up ripping a hole in the fabric under the cockpit while moving the fuselage around. So I had to cut out the damaged area and patch it. Following the instructions for repairs I fabricated a patch and bonded it over the damage. Then shrunk it once the glue had time to bond. Then finished by applying a brushcoat to the repair.
