Trimmed a notch in side panel sheet metal to fit around rudder pedals. Then layed out screw holes for side panels and drilled up holes with #40 drill for sheet metal screws. Removed panels and drilled up screw holes to #30 in panels only. Refit L/H panel and marked location for pitch trim friction knob. Removed panel and drilled up 3/4' pitch trim knob hole. Deburred both panels and set aside.
