I trimmed the trailing edge of partial rib 2 to fit into the trailing edge, As on the Left, I deviated form the plans. The plans call out using shims in 3-4 locations to fit the rib capstrip under the fuel tank. I decided to install a full length section of wood rib. since the lower surface of the wing has a very defined profile. So I used a 3/8" square wood stock. I traced out the profile of one of the lower ribs onto it. Then trimmed it out on the bandsaw. I then measured the gap between the rib capstrip and the fuel tank. Marking down the measurements every two inches. I then transferred the measurements to the section of rib stock. And trimmed it to the proper profile. Then I bonded it to the rib capstrip and will allow epoxy to cure overnight before installing on wing.
