Brief Description:  Gas, prop, new compressor

Reconnected the main fuel line to the engine-driven fuel pump, torqued the steel flare by "feel". Couldn't get a torque wrench on it, so a set up a steel -6 fitting on the bench and calibrated my arm with an 11/16" combo wrench to the guten tite-ness of the properly torqued fitting.

Used the engraver to permanently mark the fuel stick. (Images 2 and 3.)

With fuel selector on the right tank and the purge valve control pulled out, fuel pressure read about 24 psi on the Dynon, flow was about 5 gal/hr, and I could see the fuel returning through the vent line with the filler cap off. The return line works well--nothing comes out of the vent on the fuselage belly. Total of 10 A flowing with the boost pump on--so pump draws about 6-7 A on top of the 3-4 A panel load. COM was off, so the pump draw was probably 7 A. Will measure more carefully later.

Untorqued the prop bolts and let prop "relax" for about 30 min, then retorqued to 37 ft-lb. Tracked blades with an Al pointer riveted to a piece of angle clamped to the side of a of a tall step ladder. Blades track close to +/- 1/16" (per AC 90-89A guidance) but may be somewhat more than that. Will bring a dial indicator to make better measurements. I safetied the bolts (image 1) anyway. Usefu to practice with the heavy safety wire even if I wind up removing it before first engine start.
