Brief Description:  New Batt/Canopy Handle/Main Gear Fairings

Note: Hours for the entire Memorial day weekend estimated in 5/28 entry.
5/25: Installed new battery. Two 10-second cranks did NOT produce any oil pressure! Decided to stop there.
5/26: External canopy latch handle 8-32 x 1" screw was stripped. Replaced with stnlss 8-32 x 1.25" screws from OSH aviation--plenty of depth in the handle for the extra thread length. Coated threads with blue loctite; hopefully will forestall stnlss/Al corrosion.
5/27: Cut and fit the main gear leg fairings. Besides the "fingers" for a hose clamp at the top, the right fairing needed extra cut-out on the bottom for brakeline. Drilled hinges to the fairings (image 1).
