Brief Description:  Apply tail numbers; wingtip spanwise ribs

--Applied 3" N-numbers from Higher Graphics to the sides of the vertical fin. The psa vinyl letters were cut in place with transfer tape placed over the top si installation was a breeze. The instructions said use window cleaner to wet the surfaces, but I used distilled water with a drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid. Two bubbles, one on each side where a letter was fully over a rivet were slit open with a sharp utility blade to release the liquid and conform the vinyl to the flush rivet topography. Was about $20 for the pair of numbers, which are "temporary" until it's time to paint the thang.

--Hand seamed and fluted the W-931 span-wise ribs for the wingtips. The instructions said to drill rivet holes from the outside after the rib is floxed into place. How the heck would one know where to flute, then? So laid out and drilled 9 #40 rivet hols in each flange, and fluted between the holes. The ribs snugged up tightly in place (used a square to check that W-931 web was perpendicular to the other rib) and match-drilling with a right-angle drill attachment proceeded without anything moving. Will still flox in the span-wise ribs (and their perpendicular partners), but will wait until the flox cures before opening up the holes again and riveting. First I'm going to prime and possibly paint the ribs, since they're liable to see moisture and weather
