Brief Description:  Drill firewall for cabin heat control box

Put away most of the FWF stuff in the engine box. One of the cylinder plugs was alomost completely pink! The big box of silica was not indicating moisture. Refreshed all 4 plugs in a 220 deg F oven.

Drilled holes for the Plane Innovations heat door. The main hole was a bear. Ran Karl's cheap hole saw too fast, dulled it, and work hardened the stnlss. Backed up the stnlss with a wood block, which started smoking from the heat at the rim of the hole saw. Despite the block, the pilot wandered and when the hole was finally opened and de-burred, it was ~ 2-1/8" dia instead of 2".

There is still plenty of surface to seal with the Biotherm 2000 material Plane Innovations sells. The AN3 bolt holes when a lot better...lube, pressure, but SLOOOOW on the damn drill.
