Brief Description: Rudder and brake pedal paint; rivet replacement
Drilled out the mal-bucked rivets from the session with Karl on 19.Mar.2012. Replaced several wth CS4-4 pull rivets in "bad" locations such as F-623 near the "corners" with F-905 and F-906. Karl couldn't get a bar square on the buck tails. Holes were not enlarge by the drill-out but it's not worth the time when a #30 drill and a pull put in nearly as strong a rivet?
The CS4-4 head wasn't flush in the -3 rivet dimple. I made a bushing to go around the flush rivet cutter. The cutter is flush with the bottom of the bushing when it is all the way in. Shaved of the extra CS4-4 head material in a jiffy. Fill the mandrel hole and after paint the repair will not be noticeable.
Put final coat of Rustoleum Dark Machine Grey on the rudder pedals.
