Gordon Jones from EAA Chapter 663 came out to have a look at the project. He approved of the flush riveting job I was doing--even on the horizontal stab. He said not to worry about the "blister" on the left wing's outboard LE--no metal airplane is perfect. The heads of the wing rib to spar aren't beautifully uniform, but they are servicable and removal can make things worse...since no one is going to see them on the finished plane, build on! The one problem he found I knew about: the aileron bellcranks are too stiff--need to take them out of the wing and ream the weldment. You want as little friction in the controls as you can possibly get.
Will not count the tech visit as construction hours.
