Brief Description:  Rivet flap top skins

Finished riveting right top skin to flap. Spent a long time making a bucking bar for the trailing edge rib rivets: bolted piece of thin steel to the Avery cylindrical bucking bar. Wasn't enough mass directly in line with the rivet, and too easy for the bar to rotate and ding the skin. (Ask me how I know.)

Realized I could place the flap top down on the back-riveting plate, setting the thin steel on the bucktail and a LARGE piece of taped steel resting on the top skin (with back-riveting plate underneath of course). Rivet gun on the thin steel formed the shop head by "leverage". Worked well except a couple places where the top skin wasn't lying flat--the large piece of taped steel left and impression on the skin! Nothing too bad--being sure all parts are lying flat on the plate is the key.

Clecoed up the left top skin to the left flap skeleton. Set all the top skin to spar 3-3.5 rivets. Began having trouble driving the 3-4.5 rivets for the main rib tabs, so knocked off for the day.
