Brief Description:  Order new rt aileron parts / aileron bellcranks

Since the right aileron is completely unassembled, and I'm not feeling 100% sure about the repair, I ordered new nose rib and nose skin from Vans.

Spent a lot of time with fine sandpaper and Scothbrite freeing up the rotation of the aileron bellcranks. First I made sure the bushing ends were square so when the bolt is torqued the bushing won't bend. Then spun Scotchbrite stuffed down the crank weldment bore and held Scotchbrite against bushings spinning in the electric drill until a nearly friction free fit obtained.

It took so darn long because on a couple of occasions (on the left bellcrank especially), trial fits stuck so tight I had to figure out how to push the bushing back out of the weldment.

When I reassembled, I used Phil's Waterproof Grease (bicycle wheel ball bearings) to pack the weldment/bushing. Those suckers are smooth as silk now...BUT, I put the the AN4 bolt in backwards. They are shown on the plans with the nut down, so it can be inspected when the inspector is inspecting through the inspection cover. Grrr...the bolts have been torqued many times during the trial fits, perhaps I should get new ones and toss these? Another handling charge from Vans......
