Fabricated 0.020 or 0.025 Al strips to reinforce edges of the wing tips. Van's supply was not enough--must have used it for something else. For both tips, I first drilled #40 and clecoed the strips to the center hole of each nutplate hole pattern. Then match-drilled and clecoed the nutplate lugs w/#40. The drilled the center holes to #28. Used spring clamps to keep the strips tight to the tip fiberglass as I went.
Drilled the outboard holes in the wings to #28, then dimpled. Had to file a flat spot on the female die to relieve it's interference with the wings' outboard ribs.
