Not counting the hours today fabricating jack chains and hanging the 4 ft LED shop luminaires I bought from Lowes yesterday. Karl and his friend Ian came out to help. Need to tie some aluminum angle between the light chains for the extension cords to run along, otherwise the lights are pulled from their neutral hanging positions.
While they were there, they helped unplug the wings in order to install one billion nutplates for the root fairings and the wingtips. A lot easier getting them out the getting them on! A vise grip on the drift pins (with the hex socket on the tension nut used to make it an uber-vise grip) allowed the pins to be roated back and forth with Karl wiggled the wing tips up and down. The pins came out with hand pressure alone!
