Unhung the elevators. Cut l.h. elevator ctrwts and bolted and torqued them into place. Made one final pass on all AEX wedge csnks (rudder, right and left elevator). Scotch-brited the AEX wedges, then wiped repeatedly with MEK until "squeaky" clean. Wiped the t.e. surfaces with MEK, and did the same to the places where the trim tab foam ribs go.
Mixed up the tube of fuel sealant. Temperature was probably 50 F--stuff was pretty viscous. Tube won't fit in a regular caulk gun (plunger diam too big). Used a piece of wood to push--lots of fuel seal "leaked" out the back--what a sticky smelly mess.
Nevertheless, go all three t.e.'s glued, as well as trim tab foam ribs. Riveted the trim tab top skin to the trim tab spar and hinge half. Then put the vee clamps onto the foam ribs and snugged them down with hand clamps.
