Finished the second elevator counter weight skin--tapering the edges where it underlaps the main skin.
Washed all HS parts w/Dawn liquid, scotch brite to roughen sfc of Alclad parts. Soaked parts ~ 3 min in the AFS aluminum cleaner/etchant, rinsed, and dried.
Sprayed HS spars, spar doublers, three nose ribs for right HS, and the HS shim pieces for both L and R before running out of daylight...and taking Tricia out for her b.d.
After getting back from dinner, riveted the rear HS spar halves together, and riveted the elevator pivot attach brackets to the spar.
