Brief Description:  Left Wing Gap Fairings

Drilled out the -4 rivet for the gap fairing at the wing root and set a good one. Riveted the rest of the flap and aileron gap fairings.

I didn't notice an edge of the flap gap fairing was caught on the doubler plate of the rear spar hard point for the outboard flap and inboard aileron brackets. I had fabricated a replacement plate for this location when I screwed up the original (see x/x/x entry), and it turns out to be a bit too long,

So I drilled out a several flap gap fairing/rear spar rivets & worked a tongue depressor between the fairing and the spar/doubler plate to expose the edge to file it. Gave up on filing and used a cut-off wheel in the Dremel, then filed and smoothed the edge. Reriveted & done!

Test mounted the left aileron. Turns out the cutout for the aileron pushrod is just barely big enough--will have to enlarge it so there is no interference/scraping between the edges and the pushrod.
