Brief Description:  Final spar csnks, mate left tank to spar

Csk holes to accept the inboard skins on both left and right spars. Also csk the holes for the ribs that the tank skins will overlap. Used "flush rivet + 4 mils more" for skin dimple receiving csks, flush only for the holes that the tank skins will overlap.

Spot primed the csnks for left and right spar top skins, and bottom csks that the tank skins will overlap. Spot primed the rear spare top skin dimples that were csnk just a bit more.

Squoze the AD-3-4 rivets nearest the LE in the main wing ribs (the holes that the tanks overlap) on both left and right spars.

Ready to mate left tank to left spar. As expected, the fit of the z-brackets (which were installed backwards then drilled off and reinstalled correctly) isn't quite perfect. In several instances, the bolts are favoring one side of the thru holes, the threads digging in a bit as the bolt is tightened into the platenut. In one case, the bolt was cross-threaded in the platenut and I think the platenut broke...will have to take the tank off again to see what's what.

The screws around the edge of the tank skin are also not all passing dead center through the dimpled holes--threads touching/digging one side of the hole, as the screw tries to "pull" the skin into position over the platenut.

Have to cogitate on how to relieve the stresses these slightly off-center bolts and screws are no doubt causing.
