Bought 1 sheet 3/4" MDF and 6 2x4 x 8' KD studs, 2" and 3" deck screws from Home Depot and started building the flat torsion table for the ailerons and flaps that is recommended by the plans.
Ran the 2x4 stock across the jointer and through the planar to square it up. Cut lap joints for the internal cross members (see sketch).
