Set rest of left elevator top skin to spar rivets. Back-riveted stiffeners to bottom skins. Buffed out scratches and spot primed. Riveted bottom skin to main spar. Riveted the gusset to root rib then to trim tab spar. Riveted trim tab spar to root rib. Riveted skin to root rib and all but last three holes top and bottom to tip rib. Match drilled AEX to t.e. and Al angle. Drilled the two #30 holes on the stiffeners at the outboard end of the trim tab cutout. Took apart the t.e., deburred and dimpled all holes. Riveted bottom skin to trim tab spar and top skin to trim tab spar and trim tab hinge.
Put in the trip servo motor. Had to file the edges of the nutplates that overhung the doubler to get her in there. Cotter-pinned the pivot to the motor arm.
