Finished riveting left elevator CW skin. Decided to rivet the CW rib assy to the spar first, then put on the main left elevator skin. This skin had some scratches worth Scotchbriting and spot priming (wiped down areas with MEK and padded on some AFS primer w/paper towel). Sanded and scothbrited the edge of the main skin and clecoed it to skeleton. Clecoed the gusset and trim tab spar (bottom skin only) then fit the trim tab hinge half to the top and matched drilled. Begain riveting top skin to main spar, starting with squeezable rivets. Got too agressive and the edge of the yoke cracked the skin at the outboard cut out. D'oh! Stop drilled the crack and need to decide on a fix. Probably cut out a section and patch with epoxy fiberglass.
