Drilled (#40) E-908-L (5x), E-909 stiffeners (9x), and E-908-R stiffeners to left elevator skin E-901-L. Drilled (#30) E-910 reinforcement plates (2x) and root rib E-905 to E-902 spar. For both left and right elevators, temporarily installed the spar/root rib to be sure stiffeners and spars did not interfere. Did NOT drill out any of the #40 holes that attach elevator skins to spars and root ribs.
Drilled (#40) the trim tab motor access reinforcement plate E-615-PP to E-901-L elevator skin. Drilled (#40) holes for 6-32 csk nutplates with the #28 hole in the middle.
Attached trim servo to EE-602B-L&R brackets with 4-40 pan head screw and nuts provided. Holes need to be drilled w/something a hair bigger than .112 (#32 or #31) to clean up the punch's shear marks. Don't want to use #30 as it enlarges hole way to much for 4-40.
Laid out attachment of EE-602B-L&R brackets to attach electric servo trim motor to the E-616PP trim cover plate; match drilled (#40) the bracket holes (6x) and the 7x #28 holes for 6-32 screws in EE-616PP trim cover plate.
Deburred all drilled holes EXCEPT for the #40's on the elevator skins. Dimpled the E-615PP, -616PP, and EE-602BL&R parts for flush rivets and 6-32 screws as approp.
