Brief Description:  Main spar nutplates / wing tie downs

Finished the inspection plate nutplates. Started and finished the K1000-4 nutplates for the main spar web.

Fabricated the W-933 tie down bars: cut the extruxions to length on the bandsaw, sanded and Scotch-brited the edges, tapped the hole 3/8-16 x 1 inch, all per the plans.

Drilled one hole in the bar's web w/#13 drill then reamed to 0.189. Bolted both bars to the respective spars. Used a combo-square to make sure the bar was correctly positioned then clamped the other end. Match drilled the other 7 holes w/#13, then reamed to 0.189.

Drilled #40 holes for the K1000-3 platenuts for the central four hole of the tie down bars. Set a platenut loosely with an AN3 bolt, drilled and clecoed one #40 hole. Then tightened the bolt and drilled the other #40 hole.

Csk the #40 holes for flush rivets but did not rivet the platenuts yet. Will need to prime the tie down bar first.
