Brief Description: Aileron brackets/left rib prime; left flap bracket
Fabricated the aileron travel stops per the plans. Located their positions to drill the second rivet hole by swinging the A-907 attach bracket about the COM-3-5 bearing (bracket in place temporarily with an AN3 bolt).
Drilled all the rivet holes that attach the bracket parts together to #30. Fit the clecoed right wing brackets in place and match drilled to the rear spar and in the case of the outboard bracket, the outboard wing rib. Drilled the corresponding holes out to #30 as well. The match to the left wing rear spar will be just fine will all the holes being CNC punched anyway!
Washed & etched the bracket parts. Wiped down the left wing ribs and the j-stiffeners for both wings (previously washed and etched) with a bit of MEK just in case misc crud had gotten on them. Primed everything with a new quart of primer rec'd from ACS this week.
Once the parts were dry enough to handle, riveted the left flap brackets to the 1st, 7th, and 11th left wing ribs, as I had done before with the right wing.
