Brief Description: Right leading edge; J-channel; flap brackets
Polished the edges of the J-channel stiffener. Deburred holes and dimpled. The pictures show the place on the outboard end of the outboard stiffener where there was damage to the lip of the "J" (mentioned in the 29 April 07 log entry). Has I paid attention, I could have used the raw J channel length with the damage for a short inboard section, but I had already cut the short ones! Lesson: Not every part Van's sends is perfect...but this area was literally 6" from the outboard end, so BUILD ON...
Drilled flap brackets to the right wing ribs.
Assembled right leading edge and clecoed to the right wing
Began assembly of right tank: skin in the cradle, all ribs all clecoed, began to orient the z-brackets (opposite the left wing in the drawings!!)
