Finished match drilling VS-803PP rear spar to VS-808PP spar doubler. Prepped ribs VS-704, VS-705, VS-706, VS-707.

Removed rudder attach brackets, clecoed VS skeleton together, match drilled #30 holes, and set skeleton vertically on 2x3 scraps, in turn clamped to the bench. This gave access to both sides of VS to cleco on the skin.

Match drilled the skin to #40. Karl helped by moving clecoes hole by hole as I drilled. Disassembled, deburred all holes. Dimpled skin and rib #40 holes. Dimpled indicated #40 holes on rear spar and csk #40 holes on rear spar doubler per the plans.

Vixen filed the edges of the spar doubler. Ran a 2" scotchbrite wheel in the Sioux air drill on these edges. I really need a small belt sander for this stuff! Still need to edge prep all other parts of the VS.

Might continue with parts prep, then prime the whole shebang, prior to a massive riveting party!
