Brief Description:  Cowl nose job; main wheel pants nutplates

1. Cut the ring from the lower cowl and made sure the cowl was 1/4" back from the rear spinner bulkhead. Sanded inside of the cowl and detached ring until almost all of the white paint and shiny coat of expoxy was back down to the raw pink fiberglass. I stood the cowls up on a sheet of plastic, resting on the rim of the cut-out rings. Then laid the ring in place and laid up with strips of 9 oz bid. (Images 1 and 2).

2. Wheel pant halves were previously drilled #40 at the attachment hardware points. Per the plans, did not install a nutplate in the second hole up from the bottom where the shell will be cut to the main gear leg to go through. Thus created a left and (in image 3) a right main wheel pant.
