Brief Description:  Seat cushion test; Wing tips; Emp fairing

Work completed over the President's Day 3-day weekend, 2/17-19.

Tested seat cushions from Flightline Interiors. Bottom cushion (2" confor foam). with no "wedgie", is too thick. Abby held back the second cushion. She'll make it with 1" of more compressible foam; also will send two Crow harness sets (red, of course).

Sanded the emp fairing's coat of epoxy. Sprayed with sandable rustoleum primer (not hi-build). Pinholes galore remain! After curing, sanded and applied another coat of straight exoxy with a credit card squeegee on 2/19.

Finished drilling the wingtip rib (the fore-to-aft running rib) to the right hand tip. Clecoed both tips to the wings. The trailing edges are pretty much parallel to the ailerons in neutral, but they are distinctly concave upwards on the top side. Will need to fill and sand. I'll use a few duct tape strips to close the lateral slit and apply a few strips of epoxy-wetted glass to lock the parts together. A structural layup will then be applied to the inside, then light-weight filler to the outside to be sanded smooth.
