Brief Description:  Flaps rigged (Emp fairing; battery minding)

Trimmed flap leading edges and inboard ends that was interfering with wing rear spar carry-through ears. Both flaps can now retract fully, to the point where the wing TE skin reflexes upward slightly and there is no gap between fuse belly and inboard flap bottom skin overhang.

When left flap is dead even with aileron at its tooling-hole position. It still has room to retract a bit more, and there is some "play" due to flex of the flap deployment weldment.

Right flap goes all the way up: no gap with the fuse belly at the inboard end; wingTE reflexed. No play at all, but the outboard corner is 1/4" lower than the right aileron in its tooling-hole position. According to numerous VAF posts, such discrepencies are common and may have to effect on flight characteristics. Good enough for now, the flaps are rigged.

Put a coat of neat epoxy on the emp fairing.

Battery was down to 11.95 V after all the up-and-down rigging the flaps. Recharged with the battery minder.
