Brief Description: Misc fuse work 30-Sep to 13-Oct 2012
Completed in several work sessions since 29 Sep 2012: - Turned a bushing and drilled the elevator horns. - Installed elevator pushrods and control stick assy--the elevators wiggle! - Silica plugs on the engine needed baking--all blue again. - Built the crate back around the now-rolling engine. Ordered a renewable bag of silica to keep things dry. -Treated weldments and landing gear w/Boesheild T9. - Installed fin and rudder. - Trial fit rudder bottom fiberglass fairing -INTERFERENCES --> Rib material at the control stick assy keeps elevators from hitting the bottom stops --> Rudder bottom fairing prevents full rudder deflection.
