Brief Description: Emp deck rivets complete; F-656 gussets; F-786 sti
Finished empennage deck rivets. Unclecoed the top skins. Drilled F-656 gussets to the F-707 and F-706 blkhds and main longerons. Deburred holes. Dimpled F-706 gusset holes and corresponding holes in the gussets. Riveted top F-787 stiffener web to F-706 and F-707A/B. Discovered later that F-707B interferes with the skin-to-F-707A rivet. Will either have to drill out the F-707A to F-707B rivets, or find a pull rivet that can be inserted and set without interference.
