Brief Description: Mount elevators, elevator locks
With Karl's help, mounting the elevators to the horizontal stab. Cut some 3/4" Al tube into 6" lengths (with ends dressed on the mini-lathe--for the heck of it). Covered the tubes with black foam pipe insulation. Tied a string to the middle of one tube, passed the string thru the stab/elevator gap, and secured a second tube on the the other side. Repeat for the other elevator.
Printed out a CVA-12 USS Hornet insignia to add to the aircraft "carrier"!
