Manufacture two lower cowl retaining clips and install on lower boot cowl,these have South Co fasteners in them and pulls the cowl in nicely at the bottom edge,they pickup on the 90* flange at the back of the cowl. Painted the pitot tube and went with two 8/32" rivnuts to secure it to the spar for future removal in case of damage or required maintenance. On th R/H side I installed some 3M vinyl abrasive tape to protect the fabric and paint, its where all the traffic comes and gos and to date as carefull as I am have managed to chip this area. Set the trim tab in neutral and marked the cockpit indicator with this neutral mark. Sorted pitot static fittings to go on the pitot tube. Running around down town ..............thats my day
