Brief Description: Fuel tank installation/leak check and vent plumbin
Tank offered into wing and set up to receive attach plates,plates drilled off and deburred then rivetted into place.The fuel tank was dimensionally set out for all the outlet and vent fittings.All 1/2" holes drilled with a Uni Bit.On installation I went together wet with PR1422-B2 Proseal on O Rings and fittings.The rubber washer that fits under the external washer was discarded from the installation and Proseal seemed to work a lot better.Tank leak checked and all good.Tank reinstalled into wing,All bolts locktited prior to tensioning.The vent lines were installed and clamped in position
All fuel tank attach plates rivetted in place
