Brief Description: Empennage and tail wheel install and rig
Ready airframe for receipt of horizontal stabilizer and tail wheel,ream all bushes ,insert aluminium bushes for stabilizer attach.Bolt all flying wire angle brackets to airframe,Install L/H and R/H stabilizers,fit all flying wires,readjust angles of wire attach brackets.tension all wires and set stabilizers for rig position.Saftey all clevis pins and stabilizer attach bolts.Correct hardware installed in tail wheel assy.Install rudder assy,attach rudder cables and tail wheel follow up springs and chains with called out hardware,saftey all components.Rest of day taken up doing micillaneous tidy up jobs.
