Brief Description:  Modified main gear leg and tail wheel attachment

The main legs were supplied being dimensionally to short on the upper journal/above the hour glass portion/ from the manufacture,the leg was moved out of the socket and this allowed drilling of the attach hole in the upper journal,Rans suggested drilling thru the "hour glass portion of the leg,which I wasnt a fan of.A spacer was turned up to take up the difference in length to the bottom of the airframe leg socket,this plug pushed and loctited into top of gear leg.
The tail wheel ,the fwd attach bush welded into the fuselage was at an angle to the rear two 3/16" welded bushes.This didnt allow the spring to sit correctly and there fore pre loaded the two 3/16" bolts.I bolted up the fwd bolt tight then manufactured new tapered strap plates and spacers.This allowed all three bolts to be tightened evenly.Rans suggested elongating the fwd attach bolt once again not my preferred option.Assembled tail wheel assembly and main wheels (see entry from the 9/1/2009 for picture)
