Both seats removed from aircraft after a few long duration trips and decision made to modify and re upholstorer both items.James Carrol from Sew Fine Upholstory at Clontarf Brisbane Australia was contracted to re shape the foam and custom design both seats.Prior to James starting both seats were stripped and a 3/8" plywood base rivetted on to the base section of the seat,I retained the aluminium back support installed at initial build.This mod also eleviates the base of the original seats coming in close proximity to the fore and aft control jackshaft.
