Brief Description: Door assembly and fittment to aircraft
Prepare both doors for build up,install handles and pivot bushes front and rear,ream both sets of pivot bushes and linish down actuating rods on extreme ends for nice slide fit.Install the three rods and adjust rods for smooth operation.On the fwd actuating rod I installed and loctited an additional bush,when the door is closed, this additional bush comes up against the backside of the fwd pivot bushing and thus stopping over travel of the door mechanism.The bottom catch assembly where it bears on the longeron tube,I slide a piece of rubber fuel tubing,approx 5/8' long over the end and now when it comes into contact with the tube actually pulls the bottom of the door nicely snug and into place.Install" EXPERIMENTAL"decals on both doors.Door seals yet to be installed
