Top cowl rear section is trimmed to within 1/4 in. spent the afternoon and evening ligning up the two cowl interface areas. I trimmed the fwd 8" of the lower cowl down and allowed to overlap the upper going aft to provide a referende line. I've decided to go with the skybolt mounting system so I do not need to provide space for hinges. with this setup the diameter of the spinner face on the cowl is about 1/2 too large for my spinner. I'll glass the inside and grind down later.
