Fitted plastic wing tip lens. Used a dremel with cutoff wheel to seperate the two halves of lens material and traced the rough dimensions by fitting to each wing tip. Trimed with the cutoff wheel and fit to final shape using a bench belt sander and sanding block. Go sloooooooooow!
VANs instructions call for only two nut plates per lens (1 in each corner). NO WAY that is enough . I added four more (total of six) per lens.
