Brief Description:  Right Wing Leading Edge

began riviting the right wing leading edge together after priming yesterday. No special jig required. Simply alternate cleco'ing the top front and bottom front holes working back alternating top and bottom across the span of the leading edge such that you finish clecoing the last row of holes in all the ribs at the same time.

I skipped every other hole and place the appropriate rivet in all the empty holes. Then placed a piece of masking tape over each rivet head to hold them all in place. This accomplishes two things...one it makes the job quicker once I start riveting as I can keep my bucking bar hand in place moving from rivet to rivet while holding the gun over the next rivet in sequence. Second it help keep the flush rivet set from sliding all over the place (especially near the leading edge radius where the bucking surface is no longer flat). Its also completely protects the material from any scratching or marring making the over all job look fanstastic. see photos.
