Brief Description: Cut half moon in F-2004A cernter section
This required carefully trimming of the center section of the foward bulkhead assembly. The plans caution that the main spar bars must not be damaged.
To protect the spar bar during trimming I clamped a paint stick against the spar bar. I taped a 1 inch circle on the center section and used a Dremel tool with a high speed trim bit to remove the half circle.
Care must be taken to go slowly as the bit will take material aswy quire quickly. To get use to the bit, I practised on a piece of similar thicjmess scrap first.
