masked and rough sanded the trim tab interior skins atr the foam rib locations. Then built a bending press and finish-bent the trim tab skins to the correct angle.
The bending press is two pieces of 2x6 pine held together by 4 hinges. A 2" pipe wrench provides the leverage for controlled squeezing/bending of whatever is put in the press. It's a "quick and dirty" bending brake - i wouldn't want to use it (as is) for doing any serious bending work, but the trim tab skins were already pre-bent to about 45-degrees, so this press was sufficient to finish them off.
