Brief Description:  Vertical Stabilizer

Completed dimpling of the front VS spar and countersinking the spar doubler, and trimming/deburing and finish dripping of the rudder stops. I then proceeded with finish sanding edges and mating surfaces of all of the skeleton parts with 400 grit to achieve a satin finish wth no sharp edges or stress risers. This went well (if slowly). I may continue with the 400 grit paper to prep. all of the surfaces for Alodine.

On that point, I have decided to Alodine all of the surfaces prior to riveting - but I will not apply a primer coat on top of that. The Alodine provides a good corrosion protection layer without adding weight, and since these are all interior parts/surfaces, weathering will not be an issue.
